“Probably off the top of my head, the last time I can really think of would probably have been Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson with the Raiders.” Weingarten continues his defense of why Chubb and Hunt are such a great tandem by flashing back to the late 1980s: Why does the Madden Ratings Adjuster Think that Chubb and Hunt will be Top 5 RBs In order for Hunt to move up to the top three, he will have to improve his rating by four points.Īt 91 overall, Dalvin Cook and Saquon Barkley are tied for fifth overall, and those are the running backs that Hunt will mostly likely be trying to pass. 11 overall running back in Madden 21 with an 87 overall rating. “I think you can make a legitimate case that both (Chubb and Hunt) are top-five players at the position.”Ĭhubb’s competitors at the top of the position are the following: Weingarten believes that both Chubb and Hunt will have their overall rankings in the 90s in 2020: Hunt ranks in the top seven in the break tackle rankings and could improve upon his rating this season. Good luck tackling these guys □ #Madden21 /eTpV4DOXoa While Chubb (92 overall rating) is ranked as the third-best running back in Madden 21, he ranks first in break tackle rating: There have been many debates regarding how the Browns should divide the carries between Chubb and Hunt. Ratings adjuster says there’s a legitimate case for both Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb as top 5 RBs □ Meanwhile, according to Madden 21 ratings adjuster Andre Weingarten, the Browns may have two running backs in the top five of their position during 2020. Fortunately for the Cleveland Browns, there will be no Madden curse for them this year, as there was for Madden NFL 12.

Qobuz Becomes First Hi-Res, 24-bit Streaming Service Available on Sonos I found this featurette to be laughable, but for all the wrong reasons. They are explained further below:įirst up is "Fox Movie Channel Presents Casting Session" featurette, running for 8 minutes and 55 seconds. "Space Chimps" comes along with a cast and crew interview featurette, TV spots, and bonus trailers. "Space Chimps" is not one of these movies, no matter how hard it may try to be. We live in an age where the good children’s films are better than they ever have, offering deep characters, complicated plots, and important themes, all hidden under a mask of simplicity, teaching your children while entertaining. "Space Chimps" is the lowest denominator of children’s entertainment, and I honestly think will do more harm than good towards your kid. I beg you, if this in line with your thinking, please reconsider. The only reason that this movie must exist to for parents to put on when they need their kids to be distracted for 80 minutes. There isn’t a single funny joke, iota of passion, or thrilling moment in the movie. I’m somewhat flabbergasted that "Space Chimps" even came out in theaters. For successful animation, both need to be present. The only indicator that a character is emoting is by the tone of their voice, rather than by their body language. The characters of the film are expressionless, and are at most times nothing more than heads with a mouth moving on them. I honestly think the look and feel of this film is on par with some sort of cold medication advert from the late 90’s. This is also hurt by the fact that the character animations in "Space Chimps" are abysmal. The voice actors of the film speak lazily in their own voices, as if they know how stupid the movie they are in is, offering no real effort in creating the characters they are portraying. Some may think I’m grasping for too much out of this kid-themed-movie, but honestly, I find that argument moot, especially when over the past 13 years, we’ve been shown that children’s entertainment doesn’t need to be stupid.ĭisregarding any sort of plot elements of the movie, it really doesn’t have anything else going for it. Plot details are never explained, such as why Ham III has to go to space, or what the hell the deal is with the planet where the satellite crash lands. Every character introduction, every dialog sequence, and every moment of the film is pointless and arbitrary. My deepest apologies if my plot synopsis seems to be a bit hard to grasp, but I like to think that is because I am attempting to explain a near-incomprehensible mess of a film. These two professional chimps have to put up with Ham III’s wacky antics as they chase the rogue satellite into an alien world where this evil dude ( Jeff Daniels) has enslaved his people to build a casino or something. He is joined by Luna ( Cheryl Hines) and Titan ( Patrick Warburton). Ham III is tapped out of his gig at some sort of circus because of his celebrity status. After a NASA probe gets sucked into a wormhole, the organization sends a team of chimps in after it. "Space Chimps" tells the story of Ham III ( Andy Samberg), the grandson to the once famous chimp astronaut Ham I. Even though these jokes all tend to fall completely flat, this animated shipwreck falls victim to many pitfalls that other Pixar imitators tend to fall into: There is virtually no character development or story to speak of what so ever. "Space Chimps" attempts to offer its audience a dose of subversive humor mixed with slap stick, a formula executed with finesse under Pixar. Enter "Space Chimps," a short feature-length animated film directed by Kirk De Micco. I honestly feel that through the past 13 years, ever since the release of "Toy Story" (1995), Pixar is the only studio to release a CG family film right, and everyone else is trying to hop on the band wagon. I have an inherit suspicion towards any non-Pixar computer animated family film. Then, when Toontown was closing, all Toons could buy stuff, go on missions to all the areas, fight Cog bosses and wear items. Unfortunately, free users couldn't go into Cog Buildings or buy stuff outside Toontown Central. It later got a lot better with this - free accounts allowed you to go anywhere (however, you can't buy anything outside of Toontown Central), use Speedchat Plus, buy from the Cattlelog and have up to 50 friends. Of course, those perks included: the ability to venture out of Toontown Central and its three streets, to learn more than the first four levels of Gags (attacks) of the two starting Gag tracks, buy clothes for your Toon and furniture for your house (among other things) from Clarabelle's Cattlelog, play games other than the few Mini Games in the first Playground, buy items for friends, and so on. Allegedly Free Game: It claimed to be free to play, with perks for subscribers. All Deserts Have Cacti: In the Western themed furniture sets, and the Toon Slingshot game which takes place in a desert with cacti.Abnormal Ammo: Cog moves such as Double Talk, Buzzword, Jargon, Red Tape, and Pecking Order as well as Toon moves such as Cream Pies, Rain Clouds, and a giant ship.Even most high level toons haven't accomplished this. Needless to say, it takes a pretty long while to get that far. Not only does this require you to complete every toontask, you also have to max all four of your cog suits, win every racing trophy, win every gardening trophy, win every golfing trophy, and win every fishing trophy. 100% Completion: Getting 137 laff pretty much counts as this. The most solidified private server besides TTR in regards to content, often serving as its only real competition. Addresses, for example, show up in Apple Maps, and you can optionally get travel time notifications. But there are plenty of other integrations. If you want to see tasks alongside your appointments, this app won't cut it. This is handy if you've got a work account and personal calendars to keep balanced, and also makes it easier to use shared calendars.Īpple's Calendar used to offer a to-do list, but tasks now live in Reminders, a separate app. You can also add calendars from Exchange, Google, Yahoo, or AOL accounts. You can create as many local calendars as you want, and all of them will sync using iCloud. There are four main views: day, week, month, and year. You can also click-and-drag on the calendar itself to create an appointment. Natural language processing means you can type something like "go for a walk at noon" and expect your computer to figure out what you mean. Not sure where to start? Apple's Calendar, which is already installed on your Mac, is clean, functional, and syncs with your iPhone and iPad without any effort.Īdding appointments is simple: click the + button. Here they are-hopefully one of them is right for you. (There were a lot of date icons in my Mac's menu bar for a few days.) Since I've been writing about productivity for almost a decade, I was already familiar with most of the apps, but I made sure to evaluate how they'd changed with recent updates to macOS. To test all the apps that potentially met the criteria, I connected my personal calendars and used them over the course of a week to get a feel for how they worked on a daily basis. Lots of to-do apps, email apps, and other types of productivity apps have some kind of calendar functionality, but it's not quite the same as being a dedicated calendar app. Also, with one or two exceptions, I only looked at pure calendar apps. Your calendar should be available everywhere at all times-that's the point of using an app.Īpps that can't do these things weren't considered, but the best apps offer even more. It doesn't matter if this is via iCloud, Google Calendar, Exchange, or some combination of those three-some sort of syncing is a must. Offer syncing, both to mobile and other computers. Daily, weekly, monthly, and agenda views should all be offered, and they should all be easy to parse. Calendars are only useful if you can actually see what you have coming up, so the ideal calendar app needs to be easy to arrange however you prefer. Make it quick to see your appointments at a glance. Natural language processing, which allows you to add appointments by typing something like "Drop off dog at the vet Monday at 5pm," is a big plus here. Ideally, you only need to click one button or use a keyboard shortcut to start typing and add an appointment. If you can't add events in a few seconds, you're much less likely to keep it updated. Speed is everything when it comes to a calendar. The ideal app, like macOS, is easy to use at a glance, but not in a way that compromises on functionality. This means following Apple's design language and integrating well with macOS by offering native keyboard shortcuts, notifications, menu bar icons, and even features like Today widgets. Offer a clean, native user macOS interface. In addition to that requirement, the best calendar apps for Mac all have a few key characteristics: But any of the apps on this list sync with Google Calendar to bring you the best of both worlds. Let me start with this: there's no Google Calendar app for Mac. For more details on our process, read the full rundown of how we select apps to feature on the Zapier blog. We're never paid for placement in our articles from any app or for links to any site-we value the trust readers put in us to offer authentic evaluations of the categories and apps we review. We spend dozens of hours researching and testing apps, using each app as it's intended to be used and evaluating it against the criteria we set for the category. All of our best apps roundups are written by humans who've spent much of their careers using, testing, and writing about software. You can regain, rebuild, expand, and explore your intimacy. Other possible risk factors for developing a fear of intimacy include the following: Verbal abuse Physical abuse Physical neglect Sexual abuse Emotional neglect Loss of a parent Lack of self-confidence Abandonment by a parent Illness or mental illness in a parent Substance use disorder in a parent. It takes time and patience, but with professional guidance, you can learn to overcome your fears and form meaningful bonds with others. The issues run deeper than what we see on the surface. And barring medical issues, of course, the prevalence of physical intimacy is often related to the health of the relationship.
When reflecting on triumph in World War II, the first image that comes to mind may be the 1945 “V-J Day in Times Square” moment in which a returned sailor dips and kisses a nurse in celebration. Photographs have captured our most joyous victories and proudest achievements, and our most famous entertainers, athletes, movie stars, dancers, and politicians. It hasn’t all been doom and gloom, either. These raw photos fueled general anti-war activism and may have even prompted John F. A similar phenomenon occurred during the Vietnam War when, unlike the pre-screened shots permitted to be published during World War II, the images that came home were uncensored and graphic. During the 1970s, a photograph of a college student screaming in Ohio turned America’s eyes toward the conflict in Cambodia and police brutality at home. During the 1960s, for example, images of Black children being sprayed with fire hoses brought attention to the civil rights movement. Not only have these photographs captured our attention visually, but they’ve prompted action at times-even occasionally changing the course of history. Of course, the story is tragically the same in 2020 as it was in 1918, as a century after the Spanish flu, the world has experienced the COVID-19 pandemic and the adjustments it’s brought to our lives. Photographers have documented the major events of our time, from wars and protest marches to space landings, historic speeches, scientific discoveries, sporting events, and other unforgettable moments.īeginning in 1918 and leading up to the present day, Stacker gathered the most iconic images from the past 103 years. It’s been said that a “picture is worth a thousand words,” and throughout history, the adage has proven true. |
